The Maisara Library is the Head Office and main branch of the Zanzibar Library Services Board (ZLSB). Established in 1988 as the first public library in Zanzibar, it serves as the principal centre for knowledge, information, and community learning on the island.
Housing the largest collection of books, journals, and digital resources in the ZLSB network, Maisara Library provides a welcoming environment for students, researchers, professionals, and lifelong learners alike.
